A Sick Husband

You know, you learn a lot about what you can go through when you have something rough to go through. As you most likely know, Brent had been in the hospital since 2/15 (Friday) with pneumonia. A very bad case of it, too. He has had to have 2 surgeries in the last few days. But I know that I know that God is AWESOME. He is Good and He is always there. We have seen prayers answered, and not just our own. Brent has had such a huge chance to minister to people that he never would have met before this little stay in the hospital. We have seen people really coming through for us in prayer and in love like we could not have imagined.

I came home last night to 26 emails about Brent. We are loved more than I realized, beyond all that I could have ever even desired. Today as my husband finished his second surgery in such a short period of time all that I can say is that I am blessed~ beyond measure~ beyond words~ immensely blessed. And grateful that I still have the man that I love so much~

And if you are reading this~ you just got drafted into the praying to keep Brent out of the hospital team!! We do not want to go back there again!!

hugs and kisses~ shan

Monday

A little something funny

Ok~ Y'all know that I am not a football fan, but I have to say that if you did not see the e*trade commercials during the superbowl, you missed out!! So, for any of you that did not see them, I am going to include the link to the website so that you can check them out...

once you go there, there is one under the 3rd quarter and one under the 4th quarter. I know...I know...this is ridiculous and serves no real purpose, but it will make you laugh. And we all need to laugh. that baby is hilarious.
